FINE ART LIMITED EDITION HAND SIGNED AND NUMBERED PRINTS


All prints are taken by Hulia Boz. If your print is a limited addition, this will mean that your chosen print will be 1 of only 10 in the world. All prints are hand signed by the artist with pigment ink that is water based and water resistant. Our paper  comes with a guarantee of 100 years plus, fade free. This means your prints colour will not fade and will stay as for a minimum of 100 years. We use Ilford’s Metallic Pearl Photo Paper,  which is a premium paper with a unique pearlescent surface finish. 


PRODUCTION TIME FRAME AND DELIVERY


We are a custom made to order business. When you order a print, we will have it made for you. Everything is hand-made locally in Australia. It takes 1-2 weeks for framed artworks to be made and delivered and 5 days to print unframed goods. Everything is made right here in Australia.
When you make an order, an estimate date of delivery will be emailed to you. If you have an emergency and need it ASAP please email us on admin@postcardfromaustralia.com.au. We would like you to feel confident when purchasing online and we want to make sure that you are satisfied with your purchases, so we ensure all items are professionally packaged and delivered to your door.
Signature is required on delivery. It is important that your shipping address is your day time address.


ROLLED PRINTS DELIVERY


Rolled Prints will be shipped in a tube via Australia Post. Signature is required on delivery. 
Expected shipping time: 5 to 10 business days (please allow more time for international orders)

  • We do not ship framed prints internationally. We will only ship rolled prints internationally, for this we charge a flat fee of $50aud.

Please note, there are no returns, exchanges or change of mind with artwork that has been made to order. We have made that artwork as per your specifics.

We do not collect or record any credit card details you may provide when purchasing products from our website. Your credit card details are processed by PayPal.

PRICING

All pricing is in Australian Dollars (AUD) and includes all shipping and delivery fees (unless stated for overseas deliveries). Postcard From Australia reserves the right to change pricing at our discretion and without notice.

DUTIES AND TAXES

Please be aware that any items shipped internationally may incur additional fees and duties levied by customs. As the recipient of the item, you are responsible to pay any of the taxes and duties levied by the country you are shipping to. Your package will not be released from customs until these payments are made. We are unable to advise how much these duties will cost, please ensure you are aware of the cost of these fees before you make your purchase.


FAULTY ITEMS & DAMAGES

Our products are hand produced using the highest quality products. All items are thoroughly checked before sending and packaged with care. We carry transit insurance to protect our customer’s purchases, however where you have signed for goods without outlining any faults or damage then these goods may not be covered by transit insurance.  In the unlikely event that you receive an item that is faulty or damaged please contact us and we will organise a replacement for you. Please check all prints on arrival and inform the carrier then and there if any damages exist. You must notify Postcard From Australia within 24 hours of signing for the goods. Failure to do so will mean that any transit policy will be voided.
If you receive a package which is visually damaged or opened please take photos and  insist that this is noted with the carrier before signing for your order. You must ask the driver to initial your remarks. 

INSURANCE:

We will arrange delivery on your behalf. Transit insurance will be taken out by us to ensure that your goods are fully covered for any accidental damage or breakages that may occur during the delivery process. It is necessary to outline any faults or damage on the delivery note before signing it. You must ask the driver to initial your remarks.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

We recommend not hanging your item in direct sunlight. Each of our artworks has its own hanging method. We can, at a small fee, organise to come out and have your art work hung up for you. We also recommend using acid free tape if you are framing the print yourself to avoid yellowing the print.

OUR MATERIALS USED

 METALLIC PAPER

Ilford’s Metallic Pearl Photo Paper is a premium paper with a unique pearlescent surface finish. The finish offers exceptional image clarity and brilliant colour reproduction with a cool, high-gloss metallic finish with a blue iridescence.

ROLLED METALLIC PAPER:

Metallic paper prints are shipped rolled up in a tube. Rolled prints are available for shipping worldwide.

FRAMED METALLIC PAPER

Our metallic paper prints is framed. The frame we use is 28mm wide x 45mm deep. A white border sits between the print and the frame that will vary in size. Please allow for a few centimetres discrepancy when measuring your wall space, our borders may vary in size.

Our frames are shipped using museum grade Perspex manufactured by shinkolite. Perspex is light stronger against breakage than glass, a big bonus for shipping. We are happy to arrange for your print to be framed using standard glass at no extra cost, however this service will be pick-up only. Please contact us before ordering your print.

We also offer Non-Reflective glass at an extra cost. If the spot that you will be hanging your print gets a lot of direct light, you should consider non reflective glass. Please contact us before ordering your print.

Framed prints are only available for shipping within Australia. 

ACRYLIC MOUNT

The photo is sandwiched between a piece of Acrylic approximately 5 millimetres deep and a backing piece.

With the image mounted behind the acrylic, light refracts in such a way that makes the colour pop and provides a near 3-D effect.
